Monday, 9 June 2008 Dyslexia Workshop EventMercia Partnership held a dyslexia workshop at the Thistle Hotel, Haydock on Friday 6th June 08. The event provided Mercia with the opportunity to promote good practice to all Northwest prisons and demonstrate the implementation of dyslexia support into establishments.
Monday, 5 May 2008 Mercia retains IIP statusMercia Partnership is delighted to announce that IiP status has been retained for a further three years.
In January 2007 Mercia Partnership asked NIACE to assist them in devising a strategy to support learners with dyslexia in HMP Liverpool and HMP Kennet. The final report containing suggestions for improvement can be downloaded for use within your organisation.

Wednesday, 24 October 2007 Mercia scoops double awardMercia Partnership enjoyed a particularly successful night at the National Training Awards, held at St George's Hall. Both nominees, Jacquie Deacon and Jeanette Lea, won an award in their respective categories.
Mercia Partnership is delighted to announce that Jacquie Deacon, OLASS Community manager, and Jeanette Lea, Workforce Development manager, have reached the North West regional finals of the National Training Awards - to be held at St George's Hall, 23rd October 2007.
From the summer of 2007 we will be delivering Learning and Skills for HMP Kennet.
