Learning in the Community
We offer a range of provision for the local community in Merseyside and Cheshire. We aim to break down barriers so that learners can achieve a qualification, move on to further learning and obtain employment.
We work with partners such as Connexions, JobCentre Plus and the Probation Services to provide learning and skills for a wide range of adults in community centres, clubs and our own learning centres.
Our training in literacy, numeracy, English language and IT helps learners improve their chance of getting a job and builds confidence.
We offer a range of programmes working with local community and voluntary groups as well as schools. By taking the learning into local venues where learners feel comfortable, it’s incredible what people can achieve.
Because we market this training with local groups, we all benefit from sharing our marketing budget. If you are involved with a local group and know a group of adults, who would be interested in raising funds through learning, then contact our community team to arrange a discussion.
